Folic Acid is a dietary supplement that
supplements the daily diet with folic acid. This ingredient is
essential for

Folic
acid is involved in the synthesis of nucleic
acids from which DNA, our genetic matrix, is formed. Thus, it regulates
the
growth and functioning of all cells. In combination with vitamin B12,
it
participates in the formation as well as maturation of red blood cells,
and
therefore has hematopoietic properties. In addition, folates are
involved in
the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy, and also support the
maintenance of homocysteine metabolism.
