Ligandrol LGD-4033  is a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM), it is not steroids! However ligandrol does have "steroid like" effects. It binds to Androgen Receptors (AR), it does so with great affinity. Binding to AR, and exiting AR with high affinity allows a anabolic state to be greatly increased. Since this modulator is selective, it allows selection of only receptors that are beneficial excluding or limiting negative effects. Similar to steroids, LGD-4033 was developed to improve muscle wasting disease processes. LGD-4033 has shown promise in this category, in part due to it's ability for selectivity. LGD-4033 produces the benefits of testosterone. Limiting or eliminating effects on prostate and sebaceous glands. Infact LGD-4033 has shown to have certain healing properties in age-related muscle loss and bone density.

 
Ostarine, also known as MK-2866 is a SARM (selective androgen receptor module) created by GTx to avoid and treat muscle wasting.
