Milk Thistle

Annual plant, its appearance is very similar to the thistle. An adult specimen of milk thistle reaches a height of 1.5 m and a width of about 60cm. It is characterized by large dark green leaves with white marbled pattern. In this plant producing grain brown to dark brown color.

Milk thistle contains silymarin, which has the effect of bile, and protect liver and kidneys. Increases gastric acid secretion and regulates digestive activity. It also protects against toxins.
