OLIMP GREEN TEA capsules contain highly concentrated green tea (Camelia sinensis) extract. For thousands of years, tea bush leaves have been used as an effective weight reducing, strengthening, and therapeutic agent. Green tea extract is a rich source of natural bioactive phytochemical substances – polyphenols (catechines, flavonols, phenolic acids) and methylxanthines (caffeine, theophylline, theobromine). In the human body, catechins regulate the activity of many enzymes – among other things they limit the activity of the COMT enzyme responsible for adrenaline decomposition, which confers to them moderate adrenomimetic activity. Owing to their moderate adrenomimetic action, they intensify the decomposition of adipose tissue. It has been proven that adrenomimetics (such as catechin) in combination with caffeine and phenolic acids (other natural ingredients of green tea extract) intensify thermogenesis – burning with thermal energy dissipation, which process leads to an increased utilisation of storage fats. Catechins reduce also the assimilation of energy ingredients from food – they bind to them, forming stable complexes, and inhibit the activity of digestive enzymes. Green tea flavonols limit the activity of aldolase – an enzyme which controls the process of accumulation of storage fat in the adipose tissue. Caffeine inhibits appetite, which effect is potentiated and prolonged by adrenomimetic catechins. Apart from the weight reducing effect, the active substances of the green tea extract display a very wide spectrum of health effects, which is associated with their extraordinary free radical scavenging activity, exceeding 200 times the activity of the model antioxidant- tocopherol (vitamin E). Scientific studies have proven beyond all doubt that active substances of green tea display anti-atherosclerotic, anti-infective, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-exudative (vitamin P activity), and chemopreventive – cancer-risk limiting - actions. The product is particularly recommended for: - obese persons and persons with a tendency to bodyweight increase, reducing their bodyweight, and at risk of the main obesity complication - atherosclerosis; - all adults for prevention of alimentary tract infections and common cold; - cigarette smokers; - persons on non-rational diet – ingesting the insufficient amounts of fresh fruit and vegetables; - industrial employees and inhabitants of industrial centres; - persons aged 40 years and more and the elderly, when the natural anti-cancer defence of the body is being reduced; - persons with cancer cases among their close relatives, for protection against malignant diseases.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1 capsule daily after meals. The product is recommended to adults as a food supplement. Not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet.
